Prevention and Education Program for K to 6th grade students is a interactive program designed to address the following topics: sexual violence, mental health, disability awareness, eating issues, bullying, social issues and safety issues.

Safe Teen participants learn leadership skills to become role models in their school and community by taking action and mobilizing their peers to prevent teen dating violence and promote safe and healthy relationships; designed for 6th-8th grade students.

Prevention work through the community can include teens, youth, young adults, educators, school staff and parents. Some of the school curricula also share activities for outside of school that engage boys and men.

This work can build healthy relationships and prevent dating violence. Both males and females can be victims of dating abuse (also called relationship abuse).

Violence prevention education programs are funded through private donations and are available at Safe Places and at several locations.

In healthy relationships, both partners give and get respect, make decisions and have some freedom.
